I just watched a video filmed in the town of Kofu, Japan. Its population is 2500 and the region is the least densely populated (by humans). Kofu looks absolutely beautiful even on video, with green scenery and good ass spring water, and yet the folks were flexing the newly added chlorinated tap water.

The place looks so neat, and although even the elderly are on the daily hussle, overall the people of this town enjoy a level of affluence that is superiour to most places on Earth.

Affluence is a key component today. And most things I’ll say from now on will be theories, or rather presumptions.

You usually learn that when a society becomes rich, the birth rate declines. Japan is a prime example. They are literally offering cash subsidies to mothers the more children they birth. Honestly it’s decent, but if they really wanna get the rabbit behaviour going, the govt will have to subsidise a lot. For the Japanese, who hold their culture and tradition to high regard, losing all of that to self-created extinction will be a tragedy. Yes, immigration is happening, and interracial couples exist. However, the ethnic group needs to get it going too if they want to leave something for the future.

Affluence is not a stranger to the country I live in, the UK. Here immigration has taken a big stronghold, and the culture is slowly transitioning to be more diverse. It’s also true that if the non native folks suddenly disappeared, the country would be in similar situations to Japan. Even then, 2nd and 3rd generation citizens from immigrant families are starting to procreate in the fashion of affluence, by reproducing less.

It’s fascinating how fucking for pleasure is over the moon right now, but somehow birth rates are declining. I was walking in town one day and an English man walked past with his 6 or 7 kids following. I was oddly relieved, like it was something beautiful to witness. Bear in mind that this man looked working class or even unemployed. Yet he had the balls to make loads of kids. Then you have the well off folks who keep using excuses to have less kids. The best ones are “raising children is too expensive” and “I’ll use the money to enjoy my life”. They are both valid statements, yet excuses nonetheless.

Also, it’s not like the man with the half a dozen children is in an absolute state of poverty. You know, quantity generation is a strategy used by poorer couples to increase the survival chance of their lineage. No, this is the UK. We have benefits here. My man probably knew what he was doing when he was getting it on with his missus. In a country like this, should you make excuses? Will you complain about the foreigners invading when you are making no attempts at repopulating?

I get it though, I can see why someone would want to live the good life instead of “slaving away” at raising kids, or why they would want to be able to comfortably afford everything they desire for their child. There’s a sense of upward mobility in the new generation’s mind. We want better for our future generation. Honestly though, the way the masses are complaining about everything being so expensive and not having enough money, they seem to be in poverty mindset….so off with the pregnancies lads and ladettes.

I don’t know why I’m actively trying to encourage this society to stay alive, especially because I’m mostly referring to the white folks, and my DNA is South Asian. It’s a socio-cultural phenomenon, and it has nothing to do with race. Japan is an Asian country surrounded by other poorer countries with no such problems. China recently became like Japan, but it’s apparently more due to the Government intervention on procreation. Either way the Chinese are getting rich fast, really rich and really fast, so I would expect them to follow trends of the other rich countries. But if my guy Jinping wills it, the people will fuck.

Oh yeah, have I even got to the presumptions? Right, let’s get to the dessert. This is what I think. If you look at countries as individual societies, and if you understand that societies also evolve, then you will see where I’m going with this. When you look at any group of animals in this world, you will see different strategies being used for survival. For example, why do wolves hunt the way they do? Why does the beetle roll dung? Why does the parrot copy sounds? Survival strategy. Or just strategy, because sometimes I wonder if certain entities actually do weird shit for survival. I certainly behave weirdly also for non survival reasons.

When you see a country as an entity, as a meta-species of humans, then you realise that each country is also partaking in different strategies of survival. This is actually very obvious now that I think about it. Let me know if you thought this was really fucking obvious. Natural selection hits all of nature, from the atom to the Tiktok trends.

Now, let’s look at a brief overview of Japan’s latest history. After world war II they were poor af. They looked like shit. But they built it all, better and faster and stronger. They got really advanced. In a matter of a decade or two (don’t fact check me on this). Just like Italy and Germany actually. I guess the strategies of the axis lived on. And just like Italy and Germany, all three are suffering from population decline. The latter two each adapted in a slightly different way. The outcome is the same for the continuation of the native population. As pro-diversity as the German administrators are trying to be, can we get some numbers for the ethnic Deutsche? Probably shit numbers ngl.

Just like in nature, evolution by selection makes one entity pass on to the future, whereas it makes another go extinct like the dodo, evolution by natural selection may kill off certain ethnic groups and multiply others. I don’t need to tell you about countries like Bangladesh and Nigeria, you get my point. You can certainly test this theory of mine with any country of your choosing, and see if it makes a little sense. It does to me.

My question is, what is the trigger for this selection? The wealthier societies tend to have less offspring, but why is that a negative trigger, e.g. why does it lead to nature saying fuck you? Is nature even saying fuck you to the wealthy countries, or is it a grace and mercy? I’m probably reading this too far…. is dying even a bad thing?
